a. Roll call: Karen McDuffie, Kason Menges, Daryl Alford, Harold Minor, Carnell Carrell and Pam Johnson were present. Bessie White was absent. Visitors present were Chandler Arden, Charles Borski, William Borski, Theresa Cervantez, Andy Cervantez, Mariah Caskey, and Marc Benton.

2. Public hearing on the proposed Tax Rate for Tax Year 2021:
Mayor McDuffie read the proposed Tax Rate of $0.1700/$100 valuation. There was no discussion on the matter.

1. Call to order: 7:20 p.m.
a. Roll call: Karen McDuffie, Kason Menges, Daryl Alford, Harold Minor, Carnell Carrell, Bessie White, and Pam Johnson were present. Visitors present were Chandler Arden, Charles Borski, William Borski, Theresa Cervantez, Andy Cervantez, Mariah Caskey, and Marc Benton.

The general and sewer budget for FY22 was presented and discussed.

1. Call to order at 7:35 p.m.
a. Roll Call: Members present were Karen McDuffie, Kason Menges, Daryl Alford, Harold Minor, Carnell Carrell, Bessie White, and Pam Johnson. Visitors present were Chandler Arden, Charles Borski, William Borski, Theresa Cervantez, Andy Cervantez, Mariah Caskey, and Marc Benton.

3. Audit Report from Davis, Heinemann & Co. PC – representatives were unable to be present. This will be postponed to next month.
4. Enter into closed session at 7:44 P.M. to meet with attorney.

8. Receive, review, consider and possibly take action on request to annex A0031 P C Jack, Tract 31, acres 20 & A0031 P C Jack, Tract 9, acres 15.51 into the Town of Anderson from Miriah Caskey.
Miriah Caskey, Chandler Arden & Andy Cervantes gave overview of what they are requesting and what the plans are for the property. The 20-acre tract is unrestricted & the 15.51-acre tract has minor restrictions in place. The plan is to build 64 homes on the 20-acre tract. No action can be taken at this time by council.
9. Consider and take action to adopt a budget by Ordinance # 146-21, including all receipts and disbursements for the Town of Anderson FY2022.
Motioned by Kason Menges, seconded by Daryl Alford to approve the FY22 budgets with the following change: 1-5-590 name changed to Town Function Fund.

10. Consider and take action to adopt a tax rate by Ordinance #147-21 for tax year 2021.
Motion by Daryl Alford “I move that the property tax rate be increased by the adoption of a tax rate of 0.170000, which is effectively a 2.00 percent increase in the tax rate”, seconded by Carnell Carrell

11. Consider and take action to enter into agreement with Grimes Central Appraisal District for Tax Assessment/Collection for 2022.
