THE STATE OF TEXAS – TOWN OF ANDERSON – BE IT REMEMBERED, that on this the 13th day of January 2022, at 7:00 p.m., there was begun and holden a Regular Meeting of the Town of Anderson, Grimes County, Texas.
1. Call to order: 7:00 p.m.
a. Roll call: Carnell Carrell, Daryl Alford, Harold Minor, Karen McDuffie, and Pam Johnson were present. Kason Menges and Bessie White was absent. Visitors present were David Tullos, Tanya Walters, Brian Colbert, Mark Benton, William Smith, and Will Borski.
b. Quorum established.
c. Invocation was given by Harold Minor

2. Public Comment – David Tullos – introduced himself as running for Commissioner of Precinct 2.
3. Consider and take action to approve the minutes of meeting on 12/9/21.
Carnell Carrell made motion to approve minutes, seconded by Daryl Alford. All approved, motion carried
4. Consider and take action to approve the list of claims and bills.

Bessie White arrived at 7:08 p.m.
5. Consider review, discuss, and take action to approve Ordinance #148-22 to establish rental regulations and use rules for the Anderson Community Center
Daryl Alford made motion to move this to a workshop on 1/25/22 at 7 pm, seconded by Carnell Carrell. All approved, motion carried.
6. Sewer Report from B & M Services – FM1774 lift station – check valves pulled apart again due to being made up of PVC and erosion. If this continues, they recommend replacing with Ductal Iron. Future projects within next 1 to 2 years – Wastewater plant, water meter & line extension, sprayers, effluent chamber clean out. Future projects within next 3 to 5 years – electrical panel upgrade, drain ponds one at a time to remove sludge.

• Add Grant projects to upcoming workshop, we need to decide what to use it on
• Marc Benton is to look into better internet options for the area
• Need to make a list of unfinished projects and work on them.
