Tax Rate Hearing

7. Consider and take action to adopt sewer rate increase by Ordinance #153-22.
Motion by Marc Benton to set sewer rate at $30 per connection, $1.75 per 1,000 gallons over 1,000, $0.00 late fee, $500 for 3”, $1000 for 6-8”. $33.50 new customers, seconded by Daryl Alford. All approved, motion carried.
8. Consider and take action to adopt a budget by Ordinance # 154-22, including all receipts and disbursements for the Town of Anderson FY23.
Motion to approve Ordinance 154-22 by Daryl Alford, seconded by Kason Menges. All approved, motion carried.
9. Consider and take action to adopt a tax rate by Ordinance #155-22 for tax year 2022.
Motion to adopt tax rate of $0.151058/$100 by Ordinance #155-22 by Marc Benton, seconded by Kason Menges. Voice vote: Ayes by Bessie White, Daryl Alford, Harold Minor, Kason Menges & Marc Benton. Motion carried.
10. Consider and take action to enter into agreement with Grimes Central Appraisal District for Tax Assessment/Collection for 2023.
Motion to approve agreement by Daryl Alford, seconded by Bessie White. All approved, motion carried.
11. Consider and take action to nominate candidate(s) for the Board of Directors of the Grimes Central Appraisal District under Resolution #97-22.
No election this year.
12. Consider and take action to approve Inspection Committee.
Motion to approve Kimich, Walker & Paul Malak by Daryl Alford, seconded by Harold Minor. All approved, motion carried.
13. Consider and take action for Inspection Committee to inspect Harbour House for health and safety violations.

14. Consider and take action to nominate candidate(s) for the Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Pool Board of Trustees Election.

This was previously voted on in the August meeting.

Motion by Kason Menges to post part-time contract cleaning at Town of Anderson after events email resume’ to townoffice@andersontx.gov Kason & Pam will interview & hire, seconded by Harold Minor. All approved, motion carried.
17. Consider and take action on updating vendor permits.
Motion to postpone to next meeting with exception of adding 30 day permit by Daryl Alford, seconded by Marc Benton. All approved motion carried.
18. Consider and take action to set date for planning workshop.
