BE IT REMEMBERED, that on this the 8^th of February 2024, at 7:00 PM, there was begun and holden a Regular Meeting of the Town Of Anderson, Grimes County, Texas.

1. Call meeting to order and establish quorum at 7:00 PM. Members present were Tanner Krause, Bessie White, Marc Benton, Kason Menges, Pam Johnson, Rebecca Ray, and Daryl Alford.  Harold Minor was absent.  Visitors present were Sherri Benton, Gail Sowell, Michelle Bobo, Charles Borski, William Borski, John Miller, Heather Delso.

John Miller update on winking stars cellar and Harris Martin House.

5. Presentation of the FY 2021 audit from Seidel Schroeder. Heather Delso presented the FY21 Audit for the Town of Anderson

6. Mayor’s Update
   1. Upcoming Municipal Election – Reminder of the upcoming election, 3 positions open
   2. Farewell to outgoing Town Clerk Pam Johnson – Proclamation February 9^TH Pam Johnson Day.
   3. Welcome to incoming Town Clerk Rebecca Ray

9. Business: Discuss, consider, and possibly take action regarding:
   1. Approve application for bank depository. One was given from First National Bank of Anderson. Recommended to pass and accept. Motion to accept by Kason Menges. Seconded by Daryl Alford, all in favor. By resolution 112-24 Kason Menges approved, seconded by Daryl Alford, all in favor.
   2. Opening new bank account for the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) Grant. Motion approved by Kason Menges, seconded by Tanner Krause, all in favor.
   3. Call for Order of Election by Ordinance #166-24. Motion approved by Daryl Alford, seconded by Kason Menges, all in favor.
   4. Quotes for facility bathroom renovation. Need asbestos estimate and done before any demolition possibly. Option for negotiation on bids. More questions concerning the two bids, will discuss in next town meeting.
   5. Approve changes to Ordinance #148-22A Town Hall Rental Agreement under Ordinance #148-22B Town Hall Rental Agreement. Change price of decorating day before, no confetti and glitter allowed, adding approximate time of arrival and removing temperature control. Motion to approve changed by Tanner Krause, seconded by Daryl Alford. Discussion item 8. Put down in writing. All in favor. Motion passes.
