The Town of Anderson is hiring a Town Clerk
This is a part-time position responsible for administrative activities during normal office hours (8:00 am to 4:00 pm) Tuesday through Thursday.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– secretarial duties
– maintaining the Town’s online presence
– coordination of monthly council and special meetings and workshops
– coordination between governmental entities
– production of documents upon request
– building rental coordination
– maintaining records on town budget and expenditures
– ensuring compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act
Excellent phone skills a must. Working knowledge of accounting, MS Word, Excel & QuickBooks preferred. Pay commensurate with experience. The Town of Anderson is an equal opportunity employer.
