When and where is the town council meeting held?: Regular town council meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Hall located at 415 Hill Street, Anderson, TX.
May citizens attend the meeting, voice an opinion, or pose a question to the Board of Aldermen at the regularly scheduled meetings?: Yes, the public is most welcomed and any citizen may address the Aldermen on any matter after filling out the required form which is located at the back table of the room before the meeting starts. Remarks are limited to three (3) minutes.
Are tours available of the courthouse?: Yes, tours are available by appointment only. Contact #: (936) 873-2111.
Is the Town of Anderson the county seat?: Yes, Anderson is the county seat of Grimes County, Texas. (This is not to be confused with Anderson County, which is in Palestine, TX.)
How do I rent the Town Hall for my event?: Contact the Town Hall to complete a Building Lease Agreement during regular office hours. 148-22B
