NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS, THAT:
The Town of Anderson, Texas has received a petition to voluntary annex property located outside the Town’s limits but within the Town’s extraterritorial jurisdiction, which is described as follows:
A0031 PC Jack, Tract 31, Acres 20 & A0031 PC Jack, Tract 9, Acres 15.51, property located Across FM 149 from Anderson High School extending behind Anderson Elementary to Hill Street, the complete description of the area is available at city hall
A Town Hall Meeting will be held by and before the Town Council of the Town of Anderson, Texas on the 7th day of October 2021 at 7:00 P.M., in the Town Council Chamber of the Town Hall of the Town of Anderson, Texas, at 415 Hill Street, Anderson, Texas 77830 for all persons interested in the above proposed annexation. At said time and place all such persons shall have the right to appear and be heard. Of all said matters and things, all persons interested in the
things and matters herein mentioned, will take notice.
1. Call Public Hearing to order: Establish quorum
2. Conduct a public hearing on the petition to voluntary annex property located outside the Town’s limits, but within the Town’s extraterritorial jurisdiction. Citizen participation is invited.
3. Adjourn public hearing
I, the undersigned Town Clerk, do hereby certify that the above notice of the Public Hearing of the above-named Town of Anderson is a true and correct copy of the said notice which was posted in the bulletin board at the front of the Town Hall, Anderson, Grimes County, Texas, on the 4th day of October 2021, at 3:30 p.m.
