A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF ANDERSON, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING
THE SUBMISSION OF A CONTRACT AMENDMENT REQUEST FOR THE TEXAS
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT – MITIGATION (CDBG-MIT)
CONTRACT BETWEEN THE TOWN OF ANDERSON AND THE GENERAL LAND
OFFICE (GLO), CONTRACT NUMBER 24-065-147-F006.
WHEREAS, the Town entered into a contract with the General Land Office to make Street
and Drainage Improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Town desires to amend its Performance Statement to add additional
beneficiaries along with approximately 755 LF of additional improvements to the
existing project scope on South Main Street, approximately 440 LF of additional
improvements to the project scope on Fanthorp Street, and the addition of
approximately 440 LF of street and drainage improvements along College Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF ANDERSON,
TEXAS:
- The Town Council authorizes a contract amendment request to be submitted tothe Texas Community Block Grant – Mitigation Program for the following proposed
activities:
To amend its Performance Statement to add additional beneficiaries along with approximately 755 LF of additional improvements to the existing project scope on South Main Street, approximately 440 LF of additional improvements to the project scope on Fanthorp Street, and the addition of approximately 440 LF of street and drainage improvements along College Street to the project scope.
- The Town Council directs and authorizes the· Mayor to execute all necessary
documents as may be required to initiate and process this contract amendment
request.
