RESOLUTION NO. 61-15
THE TOWN OF ANDERSON, TEXAS IS AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE NO BUILD OPTION FOR THE STATE HIGHWAY 249 TOLL ROAD PROJECT IN GRIMES COUNTY. THE TOWN OF ANDERSON SUPPORTS SEEKING PROPOSITION 1 FUNDING FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO STATE HIGHWAY 105 AND FM 1774.
Came before the Town Council of Anderson on the 8TH day of January, 2015, the matter of authorizing and approving a resolution supporting the no-build option for the State Highway 249 Toll Road project in Grimes County. The Town Council of Anderson supports seeking Proposition 1 funding for improvements to State Highway 105 and FM 1774.
WHEREAS, the Town Council finds it is in the public interest and to the benefit of the residents of the town/county and the citizens of this state to support the no-build option for the State Highway 249 Toll Road project in Grimes County and supports seeking Proposition 1 funding for improvements to State Highway 105 and FM 1774.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF ANDERSON, TEXAS, THAT:
The Town of Anderson supports the no-build option for the State Highway 249 Toll Road project in Grimes County and supports seeking Proposition 1 funding for improvements to State Highway 105 and FM 1774.
