SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN OF ANDERSON, GRIMES COUNTY, TEXAS, SEPTEMBER 7, 2023
Notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the governing body of the Town of Anderson will be held on the 7th of September 2023, beginning at 7:00 PM at the Town Hall located at 415 Hill St, Anderson, TX 77830, at which time the following subjects will be considered, to wit:
1. Call meeting to order and establish quorum @ 7:05 PM
Marc Benton, Pam Johnson, Bessie Minor, Harold Minor, Daryl Alford, and James Parker were present.
Kason Menges and Tanner Krause were absent.
Visitor’s present – Butch Callegari
2. Invocation by Harold Minor
3. Pledges to the flags.
4. Executive Session at 7:08 PM
a. Convene into Executive Session pursuant to Sec. 551.072, Texas Government Code, to deliberate the purchase, exchange, or value of certain real property located within the limits of the Town of Anderson.
Tanner Krause arrived at 7:48 p.m.
5. Return to Open Session and possible action on items discussed at 8:50 p.m.
a. Reconvene into public session and take action as appropriate at the discretion of the Town Council regarding the purchase, exchange, or value of a certain parcel of real property located within the limits of the Town of Anderson.
No decision was made, action required at this time.
6. Adjourn 8:50
Motion to adjourn by Daryl Alford, seconded by Tanner Krause. All approved, motion carried.
