BE IT REMEMBERED, that on this the 31st day of July, at 7:00 p.m., there was begun and holden a Budget Meeting of the Town of Anderson, Grimes County, Texas.
- Call Budget Workshop to order 7pm Members present William Borski, Marc Benton, Tanner Krause, and Cara McAlister. Kason Menges arrived late. Bessie White and Harold Minor not present.
- Discuss and gather input to be used to develop the FY2026 Town Budget.
- Line by line review and discussion.
- Consider Vendor and Event Permit changes.
- Bring street dance back every other year.
- Consideration to building insurance needs and multiple policies vs single.
- Election expenses and review possible changes to terms, November only.
- Consider professional Zoom account this upcoming year.
- New mowing company
- Discuss and review remodel plans and approach for 101 S Main.
- Discussed various configurations to room/building layout and accessibility needs.
- Received feedback from three (3) contractors,
- Mini-split option and/or push out ac vents or reasons this cannot be accomplished.
