Mr. Blair appeared before the board seeking permission to pave over a portion of Houston Street that is currently used by patrons as parking space for the grocery store he operates on St. Highway 90. His intention is to repave the entire parking area. He will provide plans for this work as soon as they are finalized; no action was taken at this time. The board wishes to review the plans.

The Board of Aldermen reviewed a report prepared by Anderson Water Co. that indicated average water consumption during December 04, January and February 05 of each business and home in the town. (3) Mayor Sowell advised the board members that our water permit had been approved for a period of 5 more years. Future testing will be done based on CBOD rather than BOD.
