BE IT REMEMBERED, that on this the 3rd day of September 2024, at 7:00 p.m., there was begun and holden a Budget Meeting of the Town of Anderson, Grimes County, Texas.
- Call Budget Workshop to order 7pm Members present William Borski, Rebecca Ray, Marc Benton, Tanner Krause, Bessie White and Harold Minor. Kason Menges not present.
- Discuss and review line items and amounts for the FY25 budget. Went line by line last meeting. Since then it has been balanced and adjusted. Will contact franchise make sure contracts still in place. Adjustments to expenses. Added since last meeting, fire protection. Involve the community. Office equipment added. Election expenses went down. Remove Sams club and buy through amazon. Chamber back on the budget. Street signage included in expenses. Road repair to same as spent last year. Let road and bridge know by the beginning of year for repairs. Zoom added to the list. The Towns website propose to redo. Design, word press, paid plug ins etc. to put it together. Town hall equipment. AED services monthly plan as well as first aid kit. They come in and stock the first aid kit. Fire extinguisher included. Exit lights to be installed. Building repairs changed. Allow for extra projects. Get bids for remodels. Keep official copy and vote on the 12th meeting
