Town of Anderson Open Records Policy
The Town of Anderson follows the rules and procedures set out in Texas Government Code, Chapter 552, which gives citizens the right to access government records; and an officer for public information and the officer’s agent may not ask why you want them. All government information is presumed to be available to the public. Certain exceptions may apply to the disclosure of the information.
Procedures to Obtain Open Records Information
Download and fill out the Town of Anderson Open Records Request Form and submit it by:

Office hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Include your name, contact information, and enough description and detail about the information requested to enable the Town of Anderson to accurately identify and locate the artifacts requested. You will be provided with an estimated date that the requested information is available to review along with any estimated cost amount, if applicable. Please note, depending on the scope, size, number of copies, etc. of your request, there may be a charge.
