Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the governing body of the Town of Anderson will be held on the 8th of January 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Town Hall located at 415 Hill St, Anderson, TX 77830, at which time the following subjects will be considered, to wit:

6. Consent Agenda: All consent items are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion and vote.
   1. Approval of Meeting Minutes.

7. Reports:  Informational reports only, no action to be taken.

8. Business:  Discuss, consider, and possibly take action regarding:
   1. Take action to appoint an Alderman through May of 2026.
   2. Discuss and possible action to re-organize Aldermen by electing one of its members as Secretary.
   3. Review and take action to approve the Joint Election Agreement between the Town of Anderson and the Grimes County Election Administrator.
   4. Discuss and possible action on the Anderson United Methodist Church parking lot extension requests.
   5. Discuss and possible action to approve a Spring Cleanup date
   6. Discuss and possible action to approve a Mayor and Business Forum or Workshop date
   7. Discuss and possible action to approve a 101 S Main Workshop date

   1. Convene into Executive Session pursuant to Sec. 551.072, Texas Government Code, to deliberate the sell, purchase, exchange, or value of certain real property located within the limits of the Town of Anderson.
   2. Convene into Executive Session pursuant to Sec. 551.072, Texas Government Code, to deliberate personnel matters.

    1. Reconvene into public session and take action as appropriate at the discretion of the Town Council regarding the sell, purchase, exchange, or value of certain real property located within the limits of the Town of Anderson.
    2. Reconvene into public session and take action as appropriate at the discretion of the Town Council regarding personnel matters.

This meeting shall be conducted pursuant to the Texas Government Code Section 551.001 et seq. At any time during the meeting the Council reserves the right to adjourn into executive session on any of the above posted agenda items in accordance with the sections 551.071, and Section 1.05, Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct (Consultation with Attorney), §551.072 (Deliberations about Real Property), §551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations), §551.074 (Personnel Matters), and/or §551.087 (Economic Development). All items listed above are eligible for Council discussion and/or action.
