BE IT REMEMBERED, that on this the 3rd of June 2025, at 7:00 PM, there was begun and holden a Special Meeting of the Town of Anderson, Grimes County, Texas.
- Call the meeting to order and establish a quorum. Called meeting to order at 7:00pm. Members present Kason Menges, Tanner Krause, Bessie White, Mayor Marc Benton, William Borski, Town Attorney Ashley Ver Schuur, Town Clerk Cara McAlister. Harold Minor not present. Visitors present, none.

- Convene into Executive Session pursuant to Sec. 551.072, Texas Government Code, to deliberate the sell, purchase, exchange, or value of certain real property located within the limits of the Town of Anderson.
- Convened into Executive Session at 7:01pm
- Possible Action from Executive Session
- Reconvene into public session and take action as appropriate at the discretion of the Town Council regarding the sell, purchase, exchange, or value of certain real property located within the limits of the Town of Anderson.
- Reconvened into public session at 7:23pm Motion made by Kason Menges to sign a contract with Grimes County to purchase the property at 101 S. Main Street in Anderson for $220,000, authorize up to $2,000 to pay title insurance, and authorize the mayor as signatory. Second by Tanner Krause. Passed unanimously.
- Adjourn Motion to adjourn by Kason Menges, second Tanner Krause, all in favor. Adjourned at 7:25pm.
