BE IT REMEMBERED, that on this the 5th of February 2026, at 7:00 PM, there was begun and holden a 101 S. Main Workshop of the Town of Anderson and business owners of Anderson, Grimes County, Texas.
- Call meeting to order at 7:12pm Members present: Mayor Kason Menges, Tanner Krause, Will Borski, Brett Mize and Town Clerk Cara McAlister. Visitors present: William Smith
- Discussion on progress and plans for 101 S. Main St building
- Abatement completed Jan 9 by ALBO Construction. Flooring on left side of building did not survive.
- Will to ask a business contact if they want to clean out the building, Tanner or Kason will reach out to Colton McCulloch who has done previous work for the town. If any bids are received they will be reviewed at next meeting.
- Next on priority list is demo/cleanout, rebuild floor, design phase.
- Will suggests future flooring ideas, concrete over floor joists, other options will be discussed once clean-out and demo are completed.
