BE IT REMEMBERED, that on this the 20th of August 2026, at 7:00 PM, there was begun and holden a Regular Meeting of the Town of Anderson, Grimes County, Texas.
- Call meeting to order and establish quorum 7:00 pm, Kason Menges, Tanner Krause, William Borski, Harold Minor, Bessie White, Tammi Hughey present. Not present Brett Mize, and Ashley Ver Schuur
- Conduct workshop concerning the town’s FY2027 budget:Line by line review and discussion.
Delete community outreach and increase AVFD Donation
Increase advertising budget
Follow up with the county about the asphalt bill and street signage, also possible paint fire hydrants
Split electricity line for Town Hall (new) and American Legion Hall
Get pricing and consider purchasing new tables round and rectangle for Legion Hall
Election expenses and review possible changes to terms, November only.
Get Pricing on renovation of porch and exterior of new Town Hall
Give contract cleaners a raise
Increase Salary or clerk and add Monday to open days
Follow up on utilizing the last of the sewer grant - Adjourn 9:00 pm
