Members Present: Gail Sowell, Mayor; Alderwomen: Erna Freeman, Carol DeBose, Karen McDuffie; Aldermen: Joe Boudreaux, Harold Minor

Visitors Present: Cindy Bell, Carnell Carrell, Blondie Carrell, William Smith, Christy Smith, Mary Bostelman, Geoff Horn, Jenna Blinn
Called to order at 7:00 pm
Remarks of visitors:
Cindy Bell informed council that May 12th an event, Anderson Heritage Social will take place in Historic Anderson Park. It is a fundraiser for the log cabin and other buildings. May 21st will be a joint meeting with Texas Historical Commission Trails and Two Rivers. Cindy Bell thanked the outgoing council members for their hard work and dedication.
Agenda Items:
Mayor Sowell asked council to review the minutes from April 12, 2018. Erna Freeman made a motion to accept the minutes. Carol DeBose seconded. All approved; motion carried.
Mayor Sowell asked council to review the invoices for payment. Joe Boudreaux made a motion to approve payment of the bills. Carol DeBose seconded. All approved; motion carried.
Mayor Sowell informed all that there would be a meeting next week to canvas the votes at 6:30 pm. on May 15, 2018. At that time, we will also select two new signers for the bank.
