BE IT REMEMBERED, that on this the 5th of February 2026, at 6:00 PM, there was begun and holden a Business Forum Workshop of the Town of Anderson and business owners of Anderson, Grimes County, Texas.
- Call meeting to order at 6:01pm Members present: Mayor Kason Menges, Tanner Krause, Will Borski, Harold Minor, Brett Mize and Town Clerk Cara McAlister. Visitors present: Daryl Alford, Mike and Samantha Kimich, Morgan Donnell arrived at 6:34pm.
- Discussion with Anderson Business Owners
- Daryl brought up parking concerns, lack of parking options for customers
- Add more parking on West side of Main St or other options
- 1774 crosswalk desired
- Set up event rules and requirements going forward; no blocking entrances during business hours, mandatory porta-can rentals by the event organizer, additional items to be determined.
- Owners asked for more visibility around town via highway signs if possible, promotion by town on social media, tanner suggests a road banner, and Brett suggests wall murals as options.
- Next meeting March 5 at 6:00pm to continue discussion, if necessary.
