2026 06 11 Meeting Minutes

BE IT REMEMBERED, that on this the 11th of June 2026, at 7:00 PM, there was begun and holden a Regular Meeting of the Town of Anderson, Grimes County, Texas.

• Call meeting to order and establish quorum at 7:00pm members present were Will Borski, Harold Minor, Tanner Krause, Kason Menges and Town Clerk Bailey Sharp. Bessie White arrived at 7:02pm. Brett Mize and Town Attorney Ashley Ver Schuur not present. Visitors present: Nancy Jane McMillan, and Brian Colbert.

• Consent Agenda:

All consent items are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion and vote.

4. Motion to approve Tanner Krause to approve the consent agenda items in full. Second by Harold Minor. All in favor, motion passes.

1. Discuss, consider and take possible action on the town hall rental and reservation process.
   1. Motion to approve waived future rental on double booking. Motion by Tanner Krause. Second by Will Borski. All in favor, motion passes. 
2. Discuss, consider and take possible action on pothole repair and material acquisition. 
   1. No action needed. 
3. Discuss, consider and take possible action bids for mowing services.
   1. Provide a map to any mowers. Tanner Krause and Will Borksi will be looking for bids. No action needed. 
4. Discuss, consider and take possible action on the next steps for Main Street
   1. HVACto come out. Discussion of spiral ducts in place. No action needed.

1. 1. 1. Convene into Executive Session pursuant to Sec. 551.072, Texas Government Code, to deliberate the sell, purchase, exchange, or value of certain real property located within the limits of the Town of Anderson.
      2. Convene into Executive Session pursuant to Sec. 551.072, Texas Government Code, to deliberate personnel matter.
